Watch these pups in the video above struggle to solve their horizontal-stick-through-vertical-frame dilemma. Though most can't quite figure it out, persistence does prevail for a lucky few.

We've witnessed some truly Einstein-level problem solving from furry friends we've featured in the past -- such as these dogs who figured out how to play fetch by themselves. Such scientific methods are not taking place here.

Though these dogs probably won't be hired as your local civil engineer anytime soon, we give these pups props for trying.
