Donald Trump: David Letterman's Show Has Become 'Boring And Mundane'

Trump's Huge Diss To Letterman

In what appears to be another spark in their feud, Donald Trump dissed David Letterman and his late night show in a splashy declaration on Wednesday.

The real estate mogul made the claim on Wednesday via Twitter. "David Letterman's show has become so boring and mundane," he wrote. "Somehow, every time I look, I can't help thinking of his world-shattering poor performance at the Academy Awards a number of years ago. Anyway, I hope he gets it together. @LateShow."

The remark comes after Letterman mocked Trump's endorsement of GOP candidate Mitt Romney earlier this month. The host joked that Romney's poor performance in the polls exhibited "the magic of a Donald Trump endorsement,” and that Romney was begging Trump to rescind his endorsement after the candidate lost three states.

Letterman and Trump also feuded in 2011. Letterman had accused Trump of racism for repeatedly demanding to see President Obama's birth certificate. Trump retaliated with an angry letter, and canceled an upcoming appearance on the late night show.
