John McAuley, a Dow Jones Newswires writer, died yesterday after collapsing on a subway minutes after a Fox Business Network interview. McAuley was 60.

McAuley was appearing on FBN to discuss a recent column "in which he questioned the conventional wisdom that calls for an imminent recession in the U.S.," according to a Dow Jones Newswires article today.
