Pastor Says Hillary Clinton Will Turn Kids Gay

"Harry Potter" foe Kevin Swanson is back to his old tricks again.

Pastor Kevin Swanson at it again.

The Colorado-based Swanson, who is a pastor at the Reformation Church of Elizabeth, made headlines in November for blasting Harry Potter in a convoluted speech at the National Religious Liberties Conference. His issue with Potter, it seemed, stemmed from author J.K. Rowling's claim that she always thought of Dumbledore the wizard as a gay man.

Now, however, the pastor is taking aim at Hillary Clinton, arguing that the 2016 Democratic presidential hopeful will turn children gay if she's elected, Right Wing Watch reports.

Swanson made the claim in the Dec. 28 episode of his "Generations Radio" program while discussing the case of Matthew Barrett, who successfully won a discrimination lawsuit against Massachusetts' Fontbonne Academy earlier this month. The court ruled that the Roman Catholic girls' high school had discriminated against Barrett in 2013, when officials revoked a job offer after learning he was married to another man

Listen to audio of Swanson's remarks below, then scroll down to keep reading:

The way to save the nation, Swanson claimed, is to keep enough kids out of public schools and repent. Otherwise, he said, God will fail to "have mercy on this nation” and allow Clinton to be elected president.

He continued:

“Why wouldn’t Hillary Clinton get full rein upon this nation to continue the destructive pattern, destroy the social fabric of the nation — the family, of course — so that of course there will be 75 percent of kids born outside of wedlock to single mothers by the year 2030, so to be sure that tremendous majorities of American kids are taken down the track towards homosexuality, towards the destruction of sexuality with pornography habits, illegitimate divorce, the shack-up rates being 30 times what they were in 1970 and so forth?”

Of course, we've come to expect this type of questionable logic from Swanson. In addition to the aforementioned Potter commentary, he slammed "Frozen" for apparently aiming to "indoctrinate" children into being gay. The Disney mega-hit, he said, treats "homosexuality [and] bestiality in a light sort of way."

Hate to break it to you, Swanson, but gay people were gay long before Clinton ever announced her candidacy, and they'll continue to be gay no matter who is elected in 2016.
