Women who support Trump - who vehemently support Trump - leave me equal parts angry and truly sad, devastated even. I posted the Hillary Clinton ad featuring Alicia Machado, the former Miss Universe who Trump called Miss Piggy and I got lots of likes and comments. And then I got this:
Gabrielle Kelbel: So I get why everybody is pissed off about this... However this woman entered a beauty pageant BEAUTY... she entered a pageant that scrutinizes the way you look I'm not saying that she asked for it by any means, but if you're going to enter a pageant and win based on your physical appearance one should expect during that reign, that your physical appearance is going to be scrutinized whether by Trump or by other people. I could understand her being scrutinized if she won a pageant based on her brain's or based on other things other than her physical attributes and then getting scrutinized, but she won a beauty pageant I mean it would be like a scientist winning a science convention and then doing speeches about anti-science there would be scrutiny. I don't think it's ever okay to down a woman for her looks but when you enter something that you win solely based on your looks, I don't know... I think there's a little bit of a bias here for sure. (If the story is true)...also when Trump said, "she likes to eat," which is the only exerp they showed, we don't know if that was taken out of context or if he was being criticized because his beauty pageant winner gained weight. That could have very well been the case but since they only played one sentence, you won't know for sure.
A friend commented that, "There's a lot here. I would say that these pageants are way more than just beauty. And being criticized & demeaned can lead anyone to mental health issues. Weight gain isn't always about food but stress & oppression. Her story is important."
That was when things really got rolling.
Kelbel, who I do not know, began the most clichéd and predictable diatribe. At first I just chuckled at her ignorance and naiveté. She has been impressively brain washed. She totes all of the party lines in all of the most banal ways. And her spelling and grammar leave a great deal to be desired, adding to the stereotype of the Trump supporter as the ignorant and uneducated soul desperate for a better life, which she mistakenly thinks Trump will deliver as if lining his pockets isn't his sole mission on earth.
She threw in the rape case the Conservatives insist on throwing around, apropos of nothing.
Gabrielle Kelbel: Being a victim of rape and having Hillary Clinton use a tavtic that involves blaming the 12 year old victim for her rape is much more significant to me than a beauty pageant winner being insecure about what one man said to her about her weight...
I called her out. I had to.

And then it began, the self-conscious "giggling," the pat responses, the complete lack of truth or facts. The "Uh uh, you did" nonsense that Trump so impressively relied on turning the debate.

And then she decided to roll out "The List," the made up "facts" that have been making the rounds. I have to give it to the Trump camp. It's brilliant. Give a list to sheep and the sheep will ba ba ba all around town. They have no need for truth or facts or proof. It just is. Just "cause."

Only Hillary Clinton lied to the American people about her emails.
Only Hillary Clinton lied about being under sniper fire.
Only Hillary Clinton lied about lying to the American people.
Only Hillary Clinton was involved in " Cash Cow "
Only Hillary Clinton has a long list of scandals.
Only Hillary Clinton nationally belittled her husband's sexual harassment ( and rape ) accusers.
Only Hillary Clinton is a career politician.
Only Hillary Clinton will not release her speeches to Goldman Sachs and other banks.
Only Hillary Clinton is tied to Monsanto.
Only Hillary Clinton was labeled " Extremely careless " about national security by the FBI !
Only Hillary Clinton said she will raise taxes on the middle class.
Only Hillary Clinton benefited from the DNC rigging an election !
Only Hillary Clinton had to return stolen items from the White House.
Only Hillary Clinton said the Benghazi victims parents where lying.
Only Hillary Clinton wants you to vote for her based on her gender.
Only Hillary Clinton has no real accomplishments after a lifetime in politics.
Only Hillary Clinton has never created any jobs.
Only Hillary Clinton has been investigated by the FBI and found to have put national security at risk.
Only Hillary Clinton has had two or more movies and several documentaries made about her questionable ethics.
Only Hillary Clinton was called "Broomstick one" by the SS.
Only Hillary Clinton made congress and others spend millions and millions of tax dollars having hearings and investigating her to find that she lied, that would not have been spent if she would of simply told the truth in the first place ! Fact - all facts !
Only Hillary Clinton regularly cussed out and belittled her SS detail.

But you are going to vote for her because.... you don't like Donald Trump ? That is insane !

Jenny Block: This is foolishness. Educate yourself. Find ONE RELIABLE source for ALL of those things. RELIABLE. Not the Conservative crap. Trump has done nothing but lie and create failed businesses. He has no political experience. He is ignorant and racist and misogynist and ageist and weightest. I hope you are a thin, hot, straight, white woman, because you should otherwise prepare to be underpaid and dismissed and shamed while having your civil rights stripped at the best and deported or put in a work camp at the worst. Put down the blinders. You've been brainwashed. Not even intelligent Republicans are supporting him. He is a verified moron. Did you even watch the debates. You are looking VERY silly here. And then things got worse and worse. You can read the rest of the "conversation" below. I didn't change her mind, I'm sure. Although, I hope I educated her a little at least.
But whether or not she learned anything from me, I know for sure that I learned something from her - the threat is real. There are women who are so insecure and self-loathing that they truly believe that all they deserve is Trump. Like women who feel they are to blame for being in abusive relationships, who feel like no one better than that would love them, that they don't deserve safe, happy, equal, true love.
We live in a country where women think that being thin is the only thing that makes them valuable. We live in a country where women would rather be Kim Kardashian than Golda Meir - if they even know who Golda Meir is. We live in a country where being cat called on the street, raped on campus, and drugged in clubs is blamed on us and excused because "Boys will be boys" and "We wouldn't want to ruin some athlete's/student's/politician's reputation and future.
Women are so used to being beaten down and interrupted and dismissed and overworked and underpaid and all the rest, that they actually support a candidate who feeds into all of their self-loathing and lack of self-worth.
And, of course these women hate Hillary. Hillary represents being strong and saying no and demanding accountability. Hillary doesn't smile because you want her to. Hillary doesn't sit still and look pretty. She knows that is not how you get shit down and Hillary gets shit don.
It's scary, I get it. If she can do it, what makes you think all you can do is sit still and look pretty? Women have been brainwashed into thinking that being victimized is superior to being equals. "Real life is scary. Cover your arms and legs in school. Don't wear sexy skirts at the club. Stay quiet at the office. Don't interrupt or talk back. Avoid defending yourself and provoking your assailant. Don't be sexual. Don't be comfortable in your body. Vote for an old white guy who 'knows what's best' for you." Otherwise you have to stand up and stand out and take shit. It's hard. I know. But it's the only choice. Being heard, fighting for equality, defending the defenseless. That is the only choice.
I feel sorry for Kelbel. She is so entrenched. So ignorant of the truth. So under-educated. So out of touch with reality. She may well be a lost cause at this point. It's no longer supposition. Trump supporters are ignorant and suffer from a variety of psychological issues. There is no other explanation for a man who says things like, "Because the truth is, under President Obama we've lost control of things that we used to have control over. We came in with the Internet, we came up with the Internet, and I think Secretary Clinton and myself would agree very much, when you look at what [the Islamic State] is doing with the Internet, they're beating us at our own game. ISIS.
So we have to get very, very tough on cyber and cyber warfare. It is -- it is a huge problem. I have a son. He's 10 years old. He has computers. He is so good with these computers, it's unbelievable. The security aspect of cyber is very, very tough. And maybe it's hardly doable."
That is a DIRECT quote from Trump. A DIRECT quote from a presidential candidate during a debate. There is no argument to made. He is an idiotic buffoon. If you can't see that, there is something wrong. And, in fact there is something wrong, with you. It's all here.

Trump supporters are so lost in their own denial that they can't get out. You can see it in Kelbel's nonsensical, circular, complete lack of logic. No facts. No proof. No solid ground. And, worst of all and most telling of all in terms of proving both ignorance and psychological issues not to mention self-loathing, the constant dismissal of facts and sources with a "hands on hips, foot stomping, nuh uh" reply. Let me be clear. "It just is;" "No;" and "Because" are not reasons despite the fact that Trump uses them all too often.
You know, I thought it was OK to let sleeping dogs lie, to let crazies be crazy, to just leave the fanatics to their fanaticism. But we can't. We cannot. It is too close and too dangerous and way too much is at stake.
We have to call these people out in hopes that if they have any shred of intelligence and connection to reality, they will see just how far down the rabbit hole they have gone and how easy it is to get out. One of the biggest issues we have these days is being too PC, too "nice," too worried about hurting people's feelings to call foul.
Well, I'm taking off the kid gloves. I'm calling foul. If you are a woman and you support Trump, you are in denial. If you are a minority and you support Trump, you are in denial. If you are anything other than model thin and you support Trump, you are denial. In fact, if you're not a rich old white guy who hates women, including those in your life who you claim to love, you are in complete denial if you support Trump.
Hillary is not perfect. Neither am I. Neither are you.
Hillary is, however, absolutely, 100% qualified and "prepared" for the gig of POTUS. She has been showing that all throughout the campaign and she certainly proved it at the first debate.
Kelbel is just an example. And I hold no ill will against her. I feel sorry for her. I pity her and the terrible state of being she exists in. I am writing this because she cannot save herself and her family. But I can. You can.
Don't be ignorant. Don't submit to your brainwashers. Don't cut off your own nose to spite your face. Don't vote for Trump.

Hillary is full of scandal, I'm not on board with some of the things that Trump has said, but he has had a lot less coaching than Hillary on being "politically correct," and just because the media says he's racist doesn't make it so...he wants to uphold the laws of immigration, which I agree with...and I'm part Native, have Mexican kids, a Puerto Rican nephew, and Korean cousins, and a homosexual brother...they all agree as well...lol...Trump does not have the best cooth, and yes he has had some failed businesses, (every successful business person has had some failures), but he's had a LOT of success too. Hillary has a terrible track record, and while I think she is a "safe" choice politically, her record against women far exceeds her wanting to have a believable agenda for women's rights. I have watched all the debates with the exception of this last one... (haven't gotten around to it, still doing my business taxes in which I pay in an ENORMOUS AMOUNT, and will have to calculate an extra $1000 to pay in because of this ridiculous Obamacare law that puts hardships on people), that being said...Trump does a lot for veterans, which I have 4 in my family, both alive and deceased...3 of whom fought in wars...so that is important to me that they are being taken care of. I have worked with homeless vets that have fought for us, and the VA doesnt do SHIT for them...so when you see that could have been your dad, your uncle, your brother...it puts a rotten taste in your mouth. Trump has a record of giving to kids for college, (underprivileged "non white kids), prior to running, nobody talks about that...I personally would rather have a "non political" person win, than someone with FAILED politics, who knows how to "work" the public to get what she wants. It's easy to spit fire and big words calling people names...but facts are facts...and more people are starting to see how Trump will change the country instead of doing "same old same old."
