Keith Olbermann: 'Racist' Donald Trump Is Simply 'Banning Muslims' And 'Purging Hispanics'

"I am tired of hearing the radical right bulls**t that they are anything else."

Keith Olbermann is demanding that people call out President Donald Trump’s anti-immigration policies for exactly what they are.

In a new clip for GQ’s “The Resistance” series, the journalist said the executive order that barred refugees and visitors from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States was simply a “Muslim ban.”

And he labelled Trump’s immigration enforcement order as a “purge of Hispanics.” “I am tired of hearing the radical right bullshit that they are anything else,” Olbermann said.

The two orders are “useless” because “they add nothing to the safety of this country,” he said, before detailing several incidents that had occurred in recent weeks in a bid to prove his point. “It is a series of acts intended to terrify Americans into submission,” he added.

Olbermann’s video was posted online before Trump’s first major speech to Congress. He later referenced the president’s address on Twitter, however, when he called on people to “fight the euphemisms” that the president had used.
