Like his pal Chief Keef, Chicago rapper Lil' Reese has had yet another run-in with the law.

Reese, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, can add a misdemeanor theft charge to his growing rap sheet following his Saturday arrest, the Sun-Times reports.

According to court records, Taylor is accused of giving "false documentation to obtain” a 2006 BMW 750 Li in April; the Sun-Times said both police and prosecutors divulged few other details after Reese was taken into custody.

The 20-year-old appeared in bond court Sunday where his bail was set at $5,000, the Associated Press reports.

Reese was arrested in April on a downstate warrant stemming from a 2012 video that police say shows the rapper beating a woman during a party.

Previously, the troubled rapper was engaged in an ongoing rivalry with fellow aspiring rapper Lil JoJo, or Joseph Coleman, who was gunned down in the city's Englewood neighborhood in late 2012.
