STK has debuted a new three-course menu on Sunday through Wednesday night, with things like market salads, chicken liver mousse, marinated skirt steak, filet mignon and your choice of dessert for $50. Oh, and on Magnum Mondays, the giant bottles of Champagne go for about the price of a bottle, and if you need a DJ to go with your bubbles, they have you covered. Barbershop Ristorante Italiano(03 of07)
For one night only, Mori Sushi's Morihiro Onedera, one of the top sushi chefs in LA, cooks with Walter el Nagar at his Barbershop Ristorante pop-up in Culver City tonight. Eight courses for $110 per person. Go here for reservations (3809 Grandview Blvd.).

Let's just call it Valentine's Weekend, shall we? For something sweet, indulge on the three-course dessert tasting menu at LAMILL Coffee Boutique in Silver Lake. Created by Leslie Slocovich with former Patina pastry chef Adrian Vasquez, the menu includes passionfruit gelee with green tea granita and fresh soy milk sorbet; toasted almond cake with poached quince and honey lavender ice cream; and Valrhona aragunai and bliss espresso flourless chocolate cake with burnt caramel gelato. The menu is $28 with coffee and tea pairings, or $40 with Champagne and wine, and is available Feb. 14-16 (1636 Silver Lake Blvd.; 323-663-4441).

There's still a lot of Year of the Snake celebrating going on in Chinatown, including this weekend's 114th annual Golden Dragon Parade (Sat., Feb. 16, 1 p.m.) and festival in Central Plaza that goes through Sunday. Of course many of the Chinatown restaurants have specials, or you can just go and grab some dumplings for good luck.

Catch at Santa Monica's Casa del Mar Hotel has a new chef (Sven Mede, who worked with Michael Mina and Charlie Trotter's restaurant groups) and new lunch, dinner and brunch menus. For Sunday brunch think: Dungeness crab Florentine, ricotta and blueberry pancakes, and blood orange mimosas with an ocean view and live jazz. Brunch goes from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the band starting around noon (1910 Ocean Way, 310-581-7714).
