Colorado Springs' next mayor could be a medical marijuana patient.

Mitch Christiansen, 64, who plans to file a declaration of candidacy for the office of mayor on Wednesday, said he obtained a medical marijuana card last year to deal with pain from cancer after his personal doctor recommended that he try medical cannabis.
