A local news report in Grand Rapids, Michigan took a hilariously unexpected turn on Thursday morning, thanks to a cat.

FOX-17 reporter Nicole DiDonato was teasing an upcoming segment about a microbrewery when a random cat jumped on her back. Her eyes widened as the cat climbed its way up, and it perched on her shoulder as she continued talking. Watch how DiDonato handled the shock in the clip above.

Later, she tweeted, "Learned my lesson: Never making eye contact with a cat before a live tease ever again."
