"CBS This Morning" host Gayle King revealed a few more details on Thursday about her best friend Oprah's possible plan to buy the Los Angeles Clippers.

ESPN reported Wednesday that Oprah Winfrey is in talks with billionaire record producer David Geffen and Oracle CEO Larry Ellison to buy the Los Angeles Clippers if the NBA's board of governors decide that Donald Sterling must sell the team.

Sterling, the team's current owner, was banned from the NBA for life Tuesday after he was caught on tape making racist remarks. Since then, several big names have come out to bid for the team.

King talked to Oprah on Wednesday night, she told her co-hosts. She said that the media mogul told her that she is "very excited about the possibility" of buying the NBA team.

"I'm thinking I need to get some Clippers merchandise," King added.

"I think you'll be needing to get us some tickets!" co-host Charlie Rose teased.
