Earlier this morning, Sohaib Athar, the man who this week became famous for live-tweeting the raid on Osama bin Laden's hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan, tweeted that he had uploaded a video of the burning compound taken just after the military operation.

Athar told The Huffington Post that the video, which can be seen below, was shot using a camera phone from a neighborhood house outside the compound's walls.

When asked via instant message if the flames could be from the American helicopter that is said to have been burned and abandoned by the SEALs, Athar replied, "one eyewitness that I talked to said half of the compound was burning, and half of it was smoking... so the chopper could be in the video, I haven't actually had the chance to see it tw[i]ce."

The video's YouTube description says that the footage was "shared by a local guy here for the summer" who is from the United Kingdom.
