Seth Meyers Is Ticked That We're Talking Hillary Clinton Emails Again

And Anthony Weiner's involvement isn't helping.

Seth Meyers isn’t digging this “October surprise.”

The “Late Night” host on Monday vented at the FBI for announcing that it has discovered more emails that might be relevant to the investigation of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Meyers reminded viewers that her presidential opponent, Donald Trump, had yet to release his tax returns, has been accused by several women of sexual assault and that he faces a fraud trial for Trump University.

“But now the only thing the media is talking about is emails,” Meyers said. “It’s like if during the O.J. (Simpson) trial everyone was focused on whether or not the Ford Bronco had up-to-date registration.”

He lambasted the vague terms FBI Director James Comey used to deliver the news, too. “The letter was so vague it was like the entire country got a voicemail from the FBI director just saying ‘We need to talk,’” Meyers said.

And don’t get him started on how the shadow of the photographed privates of former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) is now cast over the new revelations.
