For his latest single, musician Sir Ivan teamed up with '80s hitmaker Taylor Dayne to create a zippy anthem with an anti-bullying cause.
Produced by Paul Oakenfold, “Kiss All the Bullies Goodbye” features vocals by Dayne and lyrics that encourage people to be "different and tolerant," according to press notes. Meanwhile, Ivan is going a step further by donating $100,000 to 10 anti-bullying organizations that support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teens.
Appropriately enough, the video for "Kiss All the Bullies Goodbye" sees Ivan embodying a superhero's guise.
“Through my music, I want to demonstrate the importance of acceptance and understanding," he said in an email statement. "Young people, especially LGBT youth, often lack a support system and are more likely to be harassed and bullied, and I, for one, will not stand for it. I hope people will unite with me against this injustice."
In 2012, Sir Ivan dropped "La La Land," a dance track which also had a special shout out for the LGBT community.
