Fortune highlights the top 20 employers who have at least 350 openings each. Among those they select: Edward Jones, which has an astounding 1,040 openings for financial advisors and branch office administrators. If that's not your cup of tea, you could always look at Google, which has 350 job openings in engineering, marketing, product management, people operations and legal sales.

Career Builder looks at 13 companies that are in hiring mode in the new year. They include 7-Eleven convenience stores, the consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and the insurer State Farm.
