As it's known to happen with new restaurants, the opening of Stephanie Izard's next project, Little Goat, has been pushed back a few times, from spring to late summer to October, which now looks like the official opening target. Last November, Izard told Eater of her plans to open the retro diner with the Boka Group across the street from her always-packed Girl & The Goat.

A few more details have come to light like the 8,200 square-foot diner will seat 120 people and will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. In the morning, a coffee bar will sell artisan bread baked in house and at night that space will convert into a bar selling local craft brews (which ones, at this point, haven't been revealed). The diner's second level will host a demo kitchen and classroom, which can also serve as a private party room.
