University Of Central Florida Students Run In Underwear For Charity

Students at the University of Central Florida will participate in the first-ever Undie Classic on Friday to support local charities. The event is organized by the Mu Psi Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Each participant in the race will pay an entrance fee of $2, which will be donated to Knight-thon, an on-campus organization that raises money for the Children's Miracle Network, a national nonprofit that supports medical care for sick children and research into children's diseases.

"We chose Knight-Thon because it is UCF's largest student-run philanthropy, and we couldn't be happier to help contribute to their cause," said Joseph Lebowitz, public relations chair for Sigma Nu.

Students will strip down to their underwear, or pajamas for the more modest, and donate their clothing to the Goodwill of Central Florida, before they run a one mile loop through campus.
