On Wednesday's The View, the ladies began the show discussing the latest Tiger Woods developments. Whoopi Goldberg introduced the segment, but didn't seem to be too interested in discussing it. After a few minutes of silence on Goldberg's part, Barbara Walters turned to Goldberg and asked her what she thought.

"I am bored out of my gourd," she said, to cheers from the audience. "I brought it up because we all decided that's something we wanted to talk about." "Here's my absolute honest opinion: whether they get back together or not is not going to put any food on my table."

"Well," Walters responded, "that's true of every subject we discuss today. We might as well go home!"

"Alright," Goldberg said, half joking. She got up from the table and started walking backstage.
Walters wasn't having it. "Don't you dare. Don't you dare!"

When Goldberg resumed her seat, she continued explaining, in all seriousness, why the subject didn't interest her. "This is for me one of those subjects where people demanding that you live up to their expectations is outrageous."
