Victoria Dunning, Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leader

Victoria Dunning is a philanthropy and nonprofit leader, currently serving as program officer for BUILD (Building Institutions and Networks) at Ford Foundation. Prior to joining Ford, Victoria was executive vice president of Global Fund for Children, providing grants and capacity-building support to grassroots organizations around the world. Her previous positions include senior program officer for women and population at the United Nations Foundation, program officer for research and evaluation at the Pacific Institute for Women’s Health, NGO sector adviser at USAID Tanzania, and clinic manager for the Young Men’s Clinic in New York City. Victoria served as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa. She is a frequent speaker and writer on philanthropy practice, capacity building, and learning and evaluation. She has a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in politics and international affairs from Mount Holyoke College.
