It's an overnight closure but still -- it's the 405 freeway, infamous as one of the most congested in the country.

The 405 northbound will be closed Monday night at midnight until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning for repaving and restriping, the Los Angeles Times reports.

LA Metro advises motorists to exit at Santa Monica Boulevard, turn right on Santa Monica Boulevard, left on Sepulveda Boulevard and right on Wilshire to the 405 northbound on-ramp. It's practically an episode of "The Californians."
