Animal Photos Of The Week

This Week's Best In Animals -- Two-Headed Turtle, Baby Lemur & More
|

It's quite the week for wrinkly, furry, and fluffy animals. We have a fluffy baby lemur carried by his mother, two wrinkly dogs taking a nap, and a furry koala baby clinging to his parent's back. But there is also an animal who is quite the opposite of furry and fluffy... a two-headed, five-legged turtle. Whichever animal adjective you like most, this week has a photo for everyone!

REDONDO BEACH, CA - MARCH 9: A sea lion feasts on dead fish as workers and volunteers continue to clean up millions of dead sardines for a second day in King Harbor on March 9, 2011 in Redondo Beach, California. Wildlife experts are focusing on a theory that enormous schools of the small fish may have gotten confused or trapped in the harbor while sheltering from rough wind-driven seas then died after breathing all the available oxygen. Most of the foot-thick raft of dead fish that covered the waters on the first day after the die-off sank to the bottom of the harbor but are expected to rise again within a few days as rotting advances.
