Seven years of footage gathered from the beginning of Brooklyn's Atlantic Yards saga in 2003 follows Prospect Heights activist Daniel Goldstein, the last resident in a Pacific Street building slated for demolition through eminent domain, as he fights to save his apartment.

When completed, Atlantic Yards will include Barclay's Center, future home of the Brooklyn Nets, and 16 skyscrapers.

According to the "Battle For Brooklyn" website, the documentary captures how Goldstein and his neighbor's efforts to stop the project pits them "against [developer Forest City] Ratner and an entourage of lawyers and public relations emissaries, the government, as well as other residents who want the construction jobs, the basketball team, and the additional housing that the project might produce."

Atlantic Yards watchdog journalist, Norman Oder, wrote in The Huffington Post that the film, "shows how the media shaped the public's understanding of the project."

AND, if the trailer's any indication, there's plenty of cameos from Jay-Z, Beyonce and Marty

The film opens commercially in New York City June 17.
