Somewhere around the fifth time it was needed Sunday night, the horn signifying a Blackhawks goal produced more of a muted, low wail than a loud, sharp blast.

That's right. The Hawks scored so many times that they broke the horn in a 7-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes in front of a crowd of 21,217 at the United Center.

Andrew Ladd had a goal and three assists, Ben Eager two goals, Jonathan Toews and Dave Bolland a goal and an assist each and Martin Havlat and Colin Fraser two assists apiece to lead the onslaught.
