Alleged Brooklyn Thief Twerks Like There's No Tomorrow (VIDEO)

Meet The 'Twerking Thief' Of Brooklyn
|

We all have our own way of handling pressure.

Sometimes it's taking deep breaths or having a stiff drink, and sometimes it's twerking for an hour.

In the case of a woman who allegedly kept watch outside a Brooklyn apartment building while someone else stole packages, it was the latter.

Gothamist originally posted video footage from the apartment building in Clinton Hill that shows the suspect just outside the building's lobby twerking like there's no tomorrow.

"Her endurance was rather impressive," Lindsey Riddle, 27, told the news outlet. "I'm not exaggerating when I say she did this for an hour. A couple of my neighbors walked into the building and she'd stop momentarily and then start up hardcore as soon as their backs were to her."

Riddle, who posted the video to YouTube, wrote the following in her description:

Caught the thief who stole some packages from my building... and the hour long twerk session she had before breaking in. Beware Brooklyn, there's a twerking thief on the loose!

A representative for the New York City Police Department's Office of the Deputy Commissioner confirmed the theft to The Huffington Post.

"The victim did have her merchandise reported stolen, which contained a package removed by an unknown male and female from the building on Dec. 4," Sgt. Lee Jones said.
