California Heat Wave: Red Flag Warning Issued

LOS ANGELES -- A red flag warning has been issued for the mountains of Los Angeles and Ventura counties as Southern California continues to sizzle in an early Autumn heat wave that's bringing triple-digit temperatures to the region.

Inland and Valley temperatures could reach 108 degrees Monday and beaches should be a bit cooler in the 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
