Dreams do come true for Chris Colfer, who has landed a role in the big screen version of "Absolutely Fabulous."
Producers confirmed the news on the movie's official Facebook page Friday, posting a snapshot of the 25-year-old "Glee" veteran in between stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
Colfer, who said he's a lifelong fan of the classic British sitcom on which the film will be based, expanded on the news in a Nov. 20 interview on "Larry King Now."
"I've been a huge, huge fan of 'Ab Fab' since I was a child and too young to watch it," the actor, who will play Saunders' "hairdresser-slash-social media consultant," told King. "It's genius."
It'll be a welcome return to acting for the Colfer, who has largely focused on writing since "Glee" wrapped in March. Although details are scarce, the Golden Globe winner is also reportedly in talks to star in a Broadway musical.
Also slated to appear in the "Ab Fab" film are Joan Collins, Kim Kardashian and 100 drag queens.
