Chris Matthews was a hot topic for some on Twitter Saturday night as the MSNBC anchor contributed to the network's coverage of the 2012 South Carolina primary. While some may assume the tweets pertained to a provocative comment or on air gaffe, they did not. Instead, Twitter users were calling attention to Matthews' hairdo.
In what seemed like a return to the look he debuted back in May 2008, Matthews' hair appeared as though it had changed in both cut and color. His hair returned to a "russet/rusty coloration," and appeared to be longer on top and shorter on the sides than in previous days. The new cut and color made some viewers question if Matthews was wearing a toupée.
