CNN Runs With The Sausages, Kyra Phillips Cracks A Joke (VIDEO)

CNN's Kyra Phillips couldn't help but laugh while covering a sausage run in Milwaukee Friday afternoon.

The sausage run marked the Milwaukee Brewers' home opener, held today, in which they went up against the Chicago Cubs.

"Folks, I remember when this video came in live about 8 years ago and I had absolutely no idea what was going on," she said, "but actually this is very serious in Milwaukee, Wisconsin....It's a very big deal here, I don't want you to laugh."

Of course she did just that while narrating:

"The Polish sausage has already handed off the baton to the Bratwurst...now the Italian sausage has taken the lead. Now we're just waiting to see if it passes off to the hot dog or the chorizo.

Phillips closed the segment with a joke.

"And we can just imagine that all the dogs here on opening day have very tight buns," she cracked.
