"View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck had some rather harsh words for GOP candidate Rick Santorum during a conversation about Tuesday's Republican primary contest in Michigan.

After co-host Barbara Walters explained the importance of the Michigan primary to GOP candidate Mitt Romney, Hasselbeck commented on how Santorum was "playing dirty politics" to win the state's election.

"I am fine with Tebowing. I am fine with Jolieing, I am not fine with Santoruming, which is going on in Michigan," Hasselbeck said. "He's playing dirty politics today and messing with the primary that's open." Since both Republicans and Democrats can vote in Michigan's open primary, Hasselbeck said that Santorum was "cold calling Democrats telling them to vote against Romney right now. She added, "I think it's muddying the election and muddying the primary."

Hasselbeck is the most conservative of the ladies who sit around the "View" table. She has defended Romney against her co-hosts' attacks, and criticized NBC for airing a "crappy debate" when the network prohibited audience participation. "Dare we not let anyone applaud for a Republican," she said sarcastically about NBC debate organizers.
