Manhattan-bound F service was disrupted on Wednesday evening after a woman jumped in front of a train at the Seventh Avenue station in an apparent suicide attempt.

The 34-year-old survived the usually fatal leap because the train had slowed significantly as it entered the station at 5:30 pm.
