The last thing you want when returning from a bachelor party in Nashville, Tenn., is a 'spiritual heart to heart' with the flight attendant on your plane back to Wisconson. Unfortunately for this Gawker user, "(he) was told (he) was 'filled with power and confidence', given a hug and allowed to take (his) seat." What he really wanted were painkillers and a blood transfusion.
However, the 'air guru' was only getting started. She grabbed the microphone, and before giving the usual pre-flight instructions, began a sermon "that would have Mister Rogers himself reaching for an insulin shot." Sweet or silly? We're firmly in the sweet corner.
UPDATE: According to American Airlines, it wasn't an AA flight attendant but a Chautauqua Airlines flight attendant. Chautauqua is a regional partner that operates flights for AA.
