Gay Chicago Couple Says A Kiss Got Them Kicked Out Of A Taxi Cab (VIDEO)

Kicked Out Of An Airport Taxi Cab...For A Kiss?
|

A Chicago-based gay couple is crying foul after allegedly being ejected from a taxi cab onto a busy expressway after a quick kiss.

Steven White and his boyfriend Matt McCrea tell CBS 2 that they were returning from Chicago's O’Hare International Airport at around 11:30 p.m. on May 30 when their cab driver forced them out of the car after what they've described as a quick peck on the lips.

"He indicated that it was a public mode of transportation and we shouldn’t kiss in his cab,” White recalled. "Rarely in my life have I ever wondered if I would have been treated differently if I were heterosexual. That thought hardly ever crosses my mind, but last night I wondered.”

Though the report claims the driver accused the couple of "making sex," Sun Taxi Associates have yet to comment on the case thus far, CBS 2 noted.

In 2012, a Phoenix-based lesbian couple was allegedly told to "get a room" by a hotel restaurant manager after they kissed during an anniversary dinner.

Similarly, a gay California couple was reportedly kicked out of the Westfield Galleria mall for kissing and holding hands earlier this year after a security guard reprimanded them for the public display of affection.
