WATCH: CNBC Sign Falls On Former Romney Economist

Things were going well for Glenn Hubbard on Wednesday, until a sign fell on him.

Hubbard, an architect of the Bush tax cuts and an economic adviser to Mitt Romney, had just spoken at The New York Times DealBook conference. But while being interviewed by CNBC, a CNBC sign collapsed on him.

"That's what happens when you criticize the welfare state," he said.
