Goose Island Pulls Down Four Golds At Craft Brewers Conference Downtown

After four days of beer, beer and more beer -- from Belgian stouts to barrel-aged barleywines -- the Craft Brewers Conference ended here Saturday night with dinner, awards and, of course, beer.

Chicago's Goose Island had a good night, winning four times, including gold medals for its India Pale Ale (in the English-Style IPA category) and its Nut Brown Ale (in the American-Style Brown Ale category). Unfortunately for Goose, they discontinued the Nut Brown Ale last week.
