Emmys host Jimmy Fallon mocked his own network — and the network broadcasting the Emmys — during Sunday night's ceremony.

Fallon, who inherited NBC's "Late Night" franchise from Conan O'Brien, poked fun at NBC for its handling of O'Brien's departure from the "Tonight Show."

"NBC asked me, the host of 'Late Night,' to come to Los Angeles to host a different show. What could possibly go wrong?" Fallon joked as cameras panned to Conan. "Too soon?" he asked.
