Kid President Becomes Kid Feminist In This Hilarious Rap About Awesome Girls

Eleven-year-old author  and YouTube sensation Robby Novak, better known as Kid President, is a total star. His Kid President series covers everything from politics to pep talks, and now gender equality.  In "The History of Awesome Girls Rap," Novak schools us on awesome women of the past and present, from Eleanor Roosevelt to Serena Williams. 

Novak drops knowledge throughout the whole video but his rhymes get really epic around the 37 second mark. "Rachel Carson, Julia Child, Serena Williams crowd goes wild!" he says in one line.

The video is part of the Kid President YouTube series on "awesome girls," which calls attention to the amazing contributions of women.
