Following an impressive tap-dancing routine to James Brown's "Get Up Off of That Thing" on Saturday evening, 23-year-old Brooklynite Mallory Hagan was crowned the winner of the annual Miss America pageant.

Hagan stopped by HuffPost Live on Monday to talk about her victory and life as an Alabama native who moved to New York, where she's now resided for the past four and a half years.
