A robbery took place Thursday morning at the Chase Bank at 513 Central Avenue in downtown Highland Park.

According to a news release issued by the Highland Park Police Department, a white male walked up to a Chase teller at 9:20 a.m. and presented a note that implied a he had a gun. The note directed the teller to turn over cash from her drawer. The teller gave the approximately 25-year-old man an undetermined amount of cash, who then left the bank, fleeing on foot.
