Marshawn Lynch Pushes Cameras Away After The Super Bowl, Because It Was Inevitable
|

Marshawn Lynch has been figuratively stiff-arming the press all season. Perhaps it was only a matter of time before the Seattle Seahawks running back stiff-armed the media for real.

Watch Lynch push cameras away after the Seahawks' lost the Super Bowl Sunday. "Marshawn Lynch doesn't want to see your cameras," reporter Kenny Ducey wrote on this Vine he posted.

USA Today, which reported that Lynch quickly left the locker room without showering or saying a word, wrote of the post-game encounter:

"He shoved one camera lens out of his face, then another. His crew served as a buffer between him and the small group that followed. A friend whispered in his ear and he paused, shooting a pretend free-throw. He shook hands with a security guard. Another camera approached, and he yelled a single unintelligible word at it, then giggled."

He may have done it with a smile, but the moment could still sum up the uncomfortable rapport Lynch has with the Fourth Estate.

This season Lynch got fined for avoiding reporters, then made a mockery of talking to them. Finally he took his journalist-averse game to a new level at a Super Bowl conference, reciting the mantra: "I'm just here so I don't get fined."

If anymore fines result from his media freeze-out, he can probably afford it. After the Seahawks lost to the Patriots in the Super Bowl, the Seattle Times confirmed that the Seahawks are hoping to extend his contract. Lynch is currently in the third year of a four-year deal worth $31 million.
