Michelle Obama swung through her hometown of Chicago Wednesday to show Illinois Democrats some support.

The First Lady headlined fundraisers for Illinois congressional candidates, Bill Foster, Debbie Halvorson and Dan Seals, as well as Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias.

The Chicago Tribune reports that she also made time for a meal at one of her favorite local restaurants--Spiaggia--where she ordered the wood-roasted scallops.
