Time-Lapse Video Of Mount Diablo Morgan Fire Is Unbelievable

WATCH: Time-Lapse Video Of Massive California Fire Is Unbelievable

This six-second time-lapse video summarizes three hours of a six-day fire on the Norther California's Mount Diablo, and shows an entire sky turned an eery, glowing orange. The video was uploaded by YouTube user enchplant, who shot the video from Orinda on September 8, the first day of the fire.

At time of publication, the fire, dubbed the Morgan Fire, was nearly contained and had cost more than $4.5 million in resources and burned over 3,000 acres. Officials have blamed the flames on target shooting, making it the latest human-caused fire after the Rim Fire in Yosemite was attributed to a hunter's campfire last week.
