Nokia recently unveiled the Nokia C5, a phone that calls itself a smartphone, but, according to Engadget, isn't really.

Engadget says,

We're not going to kid you, the already leaked C5 is not going to woo many smartphone hunters as we traditionally understand this defining term for high-end handsets. Although Nokia dubs it as such, the 2.2-inch display riding 2GB of microSD storage and S60 3rd OS just doesn't hold up.

Unlike most smartphones, the 'candybar' shaped Nokia C5 looks more like a feature phone than a Blackberry, an iPhone or a Nexus One.

It includes Facebook integration--'The Nokia C5 boasts a cool new feature in its phone book, where you can see your friends status updates directly from Facebook,' says Nokia Conversations--Nokia messaging, and turn-by-turn navigation and GPS.

The Nokia C5, dubbed a 'socially aware' smartphone by PC World, is set to retail for a wallet-friendly price of around $183.
