In this video featured on The Today Show, a panda at a zoo in China's Hubei Province chases a peacock that had hopped the wall from a nearby cage.

According to the report, when a panda is happy, it is more likely to engage in a chase, and thus, as anchor Dara Brown says, "the peacock was unlucky to find the panda in a happy mood."

What this clip fails to show is just how unlucky the peacock was -- the panda actually killed the peacock, according to The Telegraph. That missing detail makes this cute video turn dark quite quickly.
