Miami Police report that at 12:30 p.m. on December 18, a man approached a woman from behind as she returned home from grocery shopping. According to investigators, the woman said the suspect grabbed her by the ponytail and forcd her to a location near her apartment in the 600 block of NW 56th Street.

There, the suspect allegedly stripped off the victim's shirt to use as a blindfold around the woman's eyes. He then undressed her further before reportedly fondling her. The victim told police that throughout the attack, she begged the suspect to not hurt her.

When someone made a noise nearby, the spooked suspect ran off after stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the victim's purse as well as her clothing, cops say.

The suspect is a black male in his twenties who is five-foot-nine and around 150 pounds. He is also described as having gold teeth. He is wanted for armed robbery and attempted sexual assault.

Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers ask that anyone with information call either the Miami Police Department's Robbery Unit at (305) 603-6370 or Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
