1600 feet, fear makes the choice
My god's in the sky
Holding up with little hands
Divine, on trembling wings that
Shake to grip onto the wind
And grapple with uncertainty

Take breaks when safe
Build god when broken
A love that's up for rent
Put faith across a remnant dream
At any sign of turbulence

Blessed be mechanical wings
Mixed in with mortal maintenance
The sky bends down and bows beneath:
Our angel is a hybrid
