Thomas Roberts, who has been appearing on MSNBC since April -- and who filled in for Keith Olbermann when he was suspended last month -- will host the network's 3 PM hour for the month of December. Roberts announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday:

The 3 PM slot is slated to be filled by Martin Bashir. His appointment was announced in July, but he has yet to take up the post. Cenk Uygur took the slot in November
