don’t know what it is about a “pop-up” dinner that makes it so exciting – maybe it’s the fact that there are limited seats for a limited amount of time; or the thrill of popping-in before it pops-out; or the mere chance that Anthony Bourdain could be sitting next to you filming his second season for CNN’s Parts Unknown.

Whatever the case may be, I’m certainly glad I called for reservations as soon as I saw Guns + Butter post their three night pop-up dinner this week on Facebook. I think I saw the post around 11am and word is, that by about 2pm all reservations for all seating on all nights were booked…with a 75 person waiting list.
