Gay Marriage Will Lead To Polygamy, Pedophilia And Hate Crime Claims Against Pastors: Jerome Corsi

Gay Marriage Will Lead To Hate Crime Accusations Against Pastors, Right-Wing Pundit Claims

Add Jerome Corsi to the chorus of dissenting, right-wing voices to condemn the U.S. Supreme Court's rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and Prop 8.

The prominent Tea Party activist, who is no stranger to anti-gay declarations, compared same-sex marriage to both polygamy and pedophilia in his latest rant, Right Wing Watch first reported.

Speaking at the annual Collegians Summit in Washington, D.C., Corsi asked, "Once the logic of a Judeo-Christian faith is broken down, so that people no longer believe in fundamental issues such as sin or...redemption, then of course why can't you experiment with all these other forms of sexual activity?"

Saying that he believed America was "heading towards a type of paganism" such as that seen in ancient Rome, Corsi added, "Once the LGBT agenda achieves that there is, in fact, a constitutuonal right to a homosexual marriage...then anyone who ... preaches a biblical, Judeo-Christian interpretation that anything except marriage between a man and a woman is a sin, that pastor would have been committing a hate crime."

Earlier this year, Corsi similarly compared the acceptance of homosexuality to paganism, saying that LGBT rights would lead to bestiality, pedophilia and "snuff films" becoming legal.

In 2012, he also suggested that President Barack Obama was secretly gay and familiar with Chicago's bathhouse scene.
