A 9-year-old girl survived a car accident that left her trapped upside down for two days.

Jordan Landon ate Pop Tarts and drank Gatorade while she was pinned inside the wrecked vehicle that careened off a North Carolina road and down into a steep ditch, according to TV station WNCT. She braced against the cold too, which dropped to 30 degrees overnight.

Landon, who's expected to fully recover, went out Friday night with her father Douglas Landon, who died in the accident. Police say he drove his 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo more than 100 mph when he lost control and flipped in Cove City, WITN reports.

Jordan's mother, Claudette Leohmann, reported the two were missing on Saturday. When she went to search for them, she got into a car accident too, according to WCTI.

Landon wasn't found until Sunday evening when a person walking along the road saw the totaled Chevy and called police, ABC News said.

Rescuers initially believed that the driver and passenger were dead, but she made a noise, ABC said. Emergency responders used the Jaws of Life to pry the girl and her father from the wreck.
