Rosie Rivera, la propia hermana de la "Diva de la Banda" lo confirmó: Jenni Rivera será interpretada por su hija Chiquis en el cine. Esa esa la propuesta que le hará toda la familia a los productores que tendrán a su cargo llevar, a la pantalla grande, la vida de la querida cantante.

En medio de la presentación del tequila de Jenni, "La Gran Señora", y el disco de Juan Rivera, "La Oveja Negrea", producido por su hermana, la propia Rosie, que ahora está a cargo de administrar los bienes que dejó la "Diva de la Banda", confirmó que sí ya firmaron con una productora para hacer la vida de su hermana y que Chiquis es la candidata de toda la familia Rivera para interpretar a su propia madre.

Con esto también dejó de lado algunos rumores que decían que Rosie estaba en pleitos con Chiquis por el tema del dinero y el manejo del mismo. De hecho, ambas estuvieron juntas en la presentación. Esto marcaría el debut de la hija mayor de Jenni en la actuación, ya que hasta el momento solo la habíamos visto como presentadora.
